Overview
This cap combines an aluminum screw shell with a plastic pouring insert. The insert controls the flow so oil pours in a steady stream without dripping, and the non-refillable design discourages refilling. The 31.5 × 24 mm size is a common closure for olive oil bottles. Because the pourer is built into the closure, the bottle needs no separate dispensing spout. It is applied like a standard screw cap and removed by twisting off the metal shell.
